Evolve IP has acquired cloud communications company Advanced Integrated Technologies, Inc. (AiTech). Evolve IP, which bills itself as “The Cloud Strategy Company”, has global headquarters in Wayne, Pennsylvania, United States. Established in 2007, it caters to several industries including healthcare, legal, insurance, and banking with services that range from cloud communications services and cloud computing to virtual data center services, disaster recovery, and virtual desktops. The acquisition “is part of the company's ongoing market development strategy and provides Evolve IP with a significant base of clients in the Midwestern United States”.
AiTech, which was established in 1993, has headquarters in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. The company’s services include “custom voice, video, mobility and collaboration solutions” designed to enable mobile workforces to collaborate. The acquisition means AiTech customers can now benefit from Evolve IP’s cloud computing, contact center options, and identity management packages. Specifically, they will gain access to OSSmosis, Evolve IP’s cloud management portal, and Clearlogin, its “identity and access management authentication service”. They will also be able to access DRaaS, DaaS MDM, RMM, ITaaS and IaaS solutions and Microsoft Office 365 options.
