UK-based Web Host and Domain Name Provider Astutium Buys Greece-based Hosts and Registrars

London, UK-based web host and domain name provider Astutium has bought a number of Greece-based hosts and registrars. The company, whose services include domain registration and email services, Linux and Windows web hosting, reseller options, VPS and dedicated servers, has purchased Ultranet Web Solutions (ultranet.gr), HostGreece (hostgreece.net) and UFastHost (ufasthost.com).
Established in 1996, Astutium offers "a complete range of reliable and affordable services" with ongoing technical support. The company caters to a broad customer base in over 150 countries and manages over 100,000 websites.
Each of the providers bought by Astutium offer cPanel based web hosting, email, DNS services, and each also provides ".GR" domain registrations. “We are really excited to have completed our latest strategic acquisitions," explained the company's Head of Mergers and Acquisition, Mr. Rob Golding. "Astutium have extend our domain registration services by becoming a directly accredited .GR domain registrar, and immediately added more than a thousand .gr, .com.gr, .net.gr and .edu.gr registrants.”
Astutium recently migrated services to its Astutium multihomed network which offers new hardware and offers the company's customers "fully redundant high-performance connectivity and dual-stacked IPv4-IPv6 connectivity". The integration provides users with realtime account and domain name registration management from a single interface.
