Web Hosting Provider UK2 Retains Agency

March 12, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting provider UK2 (http://www.uk2.net) has retained an agency to support its efforts to promote its expertise in the area of hosting. The agency is Mulberry, and this is the first time UK2 has engaged anyone to manage its media relations.

Mulberry’s brief is to raise UK2's profile and promote services that include web hosting and domain name registration. As part of its strategy, UK2 will promote its expertise with “bylined articles” and talks at a range of appropriate events.

'This is a highly fragmented and competitive sector,' explained Chris Klopper, UK2’s CEO. “More and more people and businesses are realizing that they have to have an online presence. UK2 can provide businesses with information sites and transaction facilities, and can help total beginners to set up a good-looking site.”

Launched in 1999, UK2 is “one of the biggest web hosts in Europe” and offers a range of shared web hosting options alongside ecommerce, domain name registration and server options. The company also offers free email and dial up. Established in 1995, Mulberry’s customers include Intermec and Digi International.
