Unified Storage Provider Nexsan Announces Launch of E-Series P High-Density Storage Solution
Unified storage provider Nexsan has announced the launch of its new E-Series P high-density storage solution. Nexsan, which has headquarters in Campbell, California, United States, bills itself as a “global leader in storage, back up and data management solutions”. Its suite of services enable companies to store business data securely and allows users to “sync, share and access files from any device, anywhere, anytime”.

Nexsan’s new storage solution was designed to cater for heavy workloads with “demanding applications” and offers 134% increase in data read performance, and a 116% increase in data write performance when compared to previous models.

To provide enhanced performance and improved capacity, E-Series P high-density is available in 4U/60 drive and 4U/48 drive configurations and offers a controller cache memory of 72GB per system with double the number of available host interfaces. This is of particular benefit to organizations running resource-hungry applications for media and entertainment, surveillance, government, healthcare and financial organizations.

"The E-Series is a proven and widely adopted platform in many of the world's most demanding data centers," explained Nexsan’s founder and Vice President of Technical Engagement, Gary Watson. "And now with these performance enhancements we have built a platform that future-proofs our customers for their changing environments."
