Universal Cloud Management Company RightScale Announces Launch of Cloud Comparison Tool
Universal cloud management company RightScale has announced the launch of a new cloud comparison tool. RightScale, which has headquarters in Santa Barbara, California, United States, specializes in services that allow companies to “accelerate delivery of cloud-based applications”. The company’s services also help companies maximize revenues by reducing risks related to cloud usage. Companies are given access to a wide range of public, private, and hybrid cloud offerings alongside consulting services. RightScale’s new tool is part of the RightScale product suite and it is accessible through the company’s website.

RightScale’s new tool compares AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and SoftLayer features and capabilities in a number of areas. It looks at a range of criteria as far as basic cloud services are concerned and looks at core cloud services including compute, network, and storage. It also covers Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS) offerings (including relational and non-relational databases) and also considers security, and identity services. A live webinar will introduce the tool on Wednesday, January 27, 2016.

"Enterprises are using public and private in record numbers, and as we saw in the RightScale 2015 State of the Cloud Report, 82 percent of enterprises report a multi-cloud strategy," explained RightScale’s Vice President of Marketing, Kim Weins. "Now one of the big questions is how companies can pick the best, most optimized cloud for each specific workload or use case. We created RightScale Cloud Comparison to make it easier for IT to become an effective cloud broker of different cloud services across the leading public clouds."
