Web Hosting Provider Verio Launches DIY Tools, Website Design, Online Search Engine Submission and Online Marketing Campaigns
August 3, 2006 (HOSTSEARCH.COM) In a bid to assist its customers in reaching new audiences, web hosting provider Verio (http://www.verio.com), in conjunction with Website Pros, has launched a number of DIY tools alongside website design, online search engine submission and online marketing campaign services.
Verios move is a response to recent research that suggested that a major concern for companies is building and marketing their online business. Verios announcement of their services quotes a Yankee Group report that indicates that the top four challenges for small and mid-size businesses (SMB) are 1) lack of time to update website content, 2) the need to redesign their corporate websites, 3) generating traffic to their websites and 4) lack of resources to maintain a website.
Verio conducted its own survey of SMBs that showed that less than half of companies are actively marketing their sites and that two-thirds want to use their site to market their business and increase new customers and sales. The survey also suggested that SMBs may not fully understand the need to market a website. To meet businesses requirements the Verio Marketing Tools provide tools that accelerate online brand awareness.
"Verio's new Build and Market services are a boon to small businesses," suggested Dennis Boyle, Chief Operating Officer for Verio. "What it essentially means for customers is that if you are starting or expanding a business or improving your site, your worries have just been greatly minimized. You can now have professionals affordably develop a site to meet your business needs, and work to reach new customers online. Businesses have identified these areas as barriers, and with Verio's new services, we hope to take the headache out of the process and help customers do more with their business online."
