Verio Demonstrates Linux Virtualization in Action:
Addresses Benefits of Linux Virtual Solutions to Help Businesses, Developers and ISVs Gain Greater Control and Lessen the IT Headaches
SCALE 5x Los Angeles, CA, February 7, 2007
What:
Linux-based VPS technologies are making strides in the small and medium business and developer communities, delivering a flexible, powerful and economical solution to companies and Linux enthusiasts. A VPS solution is ideal for small to medium businesses who want power, control, expert management and premier reliability but not all the hassles that come with it. As the creator of VPS technology and a leader in open source offerings, Verio will provide insight on Linux-based virtual hosting and the impact to small and midsized businesses at this year's fifth annual Southern California Linux Expo (SCALE 5x). The company will also lead a session on how attendees can unlock the open source potential of the VPS. Here Verio will provide insight on the business benefits of virtual private servers -- the technology, security, cost and how VPS allows users to gain more control over their Web infrastructure, but without the headache of ongoing maintenance and management. In addition, attendees will have the chance to observe real-time demos of Verio's Linux VPS technology, including a look at root access, security and the VPS control panel.
Verio will also be exhibiting at SCALE 5x, with demonstrations showing how small businesses, developers and resellers can utilize the Verio Linux VPS to its fullest potential to help benefit the bottom line.
For Comment:
Verio continues to be the foremost expert in VPS hosting innovations and related applications delivery, including Linux VPS, and will be present at the SCALE 5x event to discuss how Linux and VPS solutions can boost the bottom line.
