Web Host Verio Announces Changes to Senior Marketing Team
June 25, 2008 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web host Verio has announced changes to its senior marketing team, it was reported yesterday. The company has brought in Wendy St. Clair Pearson as Senior Director of Marketing and Communications and Kenneth Giffin as Director of Marketing. The pair will work in support of a “new global marketing strategy” to be “rolled out this year” aimed at addressing the evolving SMB Solutions marketplace.

Wendy Pearson offers Verio around 15 years of strategic marketing experience in the business-to business, hosting and technology arena. She will be responsible for all aspects of Verio’s marketing and communications initiatives, “leveraging her expertise to further establish the company as a global leader in hosting, applications and managed services for small and midsized businesses”. She previously held positions at Breakthrough Management Group International, (BMGI) a global Lean Six Sigma consulting firm, Web hosting and colocation provider ViaWest, where she was Director of Marketing and Communications, and Rocky Mountain Internet where she was Marketing Manager. Ms. Pearson holds a Bachelor of Science, Journalism, from the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado, USA.
Ken Giffin brings 15 years of B2B and technology marketing experience to Verio. His responsibility will be to hold overall marketing responsibility for the Via Verio reseller program and lead the company’s product marketing. He previously held position at companies such as Quark, where he was Vice President of Marketing, General Electric’s Access Distribution division. He has dealt with a range of high profile companies including 3Com, American Express and Sun Microsystems. He has a BA in Journalism/Business from Indiana University, Bloomington and a MA in Integrated Marketing Communications from the University of Colorado, Boulder, USA.
