Web Hosting and Domain Name Registration Provider VEXXHOST.COM Introduces near-CDP Backup

The backup solution is available to the company’s shared and reseller web hosting accounts, and utilizes R1soft technology. This is a new feature that is being passed to customers at no additional cost.
VEXXHOST’s customer data is currently backed up every 3 hours and every 12 hours, meaning customers have 8 restore points to choose from. The company also takes daily backups on top of this schedule. MySQL database backups are made while they are “temporarily locked and there is no possibility of the database becoming corrupt” – according to the company, “this maximizes security and decreases any possibility of a corrupted backup”.
