VPS Web Hosting Solutions Provider VPSLink Launches Gentoo Linux

July 17, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – VPS web hosting solutions provider VPSLink (http://www.vpslink.com) has announced the addition of Gentoo Linux to its suite of service offerings. Gentoo is now available on all VPSLink hosting plans.

According to Stephen Koenig, VPSLink’s Director of Research & Development, Gentoo is "perhaps one of the most customizable Linux distributions available." The company’s plans now feature it as a “minimalist installation, including GCC and SSHD” which is often referred to as a “Stage 3 Install”.

VPSLink is based in Seattle, USA and offers budget Virtual Private Server (VPS) web hosting solutions from their own datacenter. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Spry Hosting.
