Media Temple has enhanced its premium WordPress hosting platform and launched a new WordPress theme. Established in 1998, the company caters to “developers, designers, digital entrepreneurs and innovators”. It manages 300,000 WordPress sites though customer accounts in 100 countries. Its customers include companies like Red Bull, Nike, and Diesel.
The company’s managed WordPress hosting platform was launched in early 2014. Users now have additional data restoration options alongside improved security through SSH-based remote server access that allows developers to utilize version control. The company’s new theme is designed solely for its Premium WordPress Hosting platform users and will be of particular interest to photographers needing publish portfolios.
“It’s part of our company philosophy to constantly improve our products to live up to our commitment to delivering a premium user experience,” explained Media Temple’s Shared Services Product Manager, Dante Baker. “We have been using feedback and specific requests from our customers combined with inputs from the WordPress community to identify which new features we should add to our Premium WordPress Hosting product.”
