GoDaddy Announces Launch of Indian 'Business Email' Options Web host and domain name provider GoDaddy has announced the launch of 'Business Email' options in India. GoDaddy is known as one of the world’s biggest providers of hosting and domain names. Established in 1997 and based in Scottsdale, Arizona, United States, it has a presence in a number of Indian cities. GoDaddy specializes in catering to SMEs and other businesses with a range of tools and services that allow companies to develop their own web presence without spending huge amounts on development. Its new service in India costs as little as Rs 39 ($0.60) per month.
GoDaddy’s secure Business Email is a “professional email solution designed to help small businesses”. It offers custom email accounts that include a company’s website name (e.g. info@yourcompnay.in) in each email address. Using website names in email addresses is recognized as a quick and cost-effective way of giving customers confidence in what a company offers. Countless surveys have suggested people trust companies that use their domain name in an email address much more than companies that use generic email addresses such as mycompany@gmail.com, mycompany@yahoo.com and mycompany@outlook.com.
GoDaddy’s new ad-free email plans deliver “a fully-synchronised email experience” with the service available through mobile devices, tablets and desktops. They also offer 10GB of storage space for each email address and provide virus and spam filters to block potentially dangerous emails.
