GoDaddy has appointed Nikhil Arora as new Vice President and Managing Director for its operations in India. GoDaddy has global headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona, United States. Established in 1997, it is a global brand focusing on providing complete solutions for SMEs and larger organizations. The company also has a strong localization policy, with global divisions in many countries and support in local languages. It’s Indian headquarters are in Haryana, India. It is “currently number one in market share for .IN domain registration in the country”.
In his new role Mr Arora will be in charge of “corporate strategy, business development and customer experience” for GoDaddy, His previous roles have included executive positions at Indian company WeWork, where he was co-founder, and the Vice President and Managing Director position at Intuit India. As a country with one of the most start ups and SMEs, India is one of GoDaddy’s most important markets.
"India has an estimated 460 million users online and an increasing mobile Internet environment, so SMBs are taking their ventures online to attract customers and extend their brands," explained GoDaddy International’s Executive Vice President, Andrew Low Ah Kee.
