Web Werks) is a CII Innovation Awards finalist. Web Werks, established in 1996, has headquarters in Mumbai, India. The company is “one of the leading data center providers in India” and it offers carrier neutral services through 5 Tier III and Tier IV data centers. Its services extend to a number of hosting services from cloud and VPS hosting to dedicated servers and colocation. Web Werks was named a finalist in the ‘Bare Metal on Cloud’ category of the CII Innovation Awards.
The CII is “a non-government, not-for-profit, industry-led and industry-managed organization” with around 7,200 members. The CII Industrial Innovation Awards are a “recognition and celebration of innovative Indian enterprises across industry segments” and “seek to recognize and honor” India’s “brightest stars”. A rigorous procedure is adopted to establish India’s top 25 innovative companies in a range of business verticals.
“It was a tough competition, but we are delighted to gain such prestigious industry recognition,” explained a Web Werks spokesperson. “We didn’t make it to the winning prize, yet feel honored to reach to the second level of evaluation. CII Innovation Awards are considered as the most valuable and esteemed and to receive acknowledgement from them is an incredible achievement. “Web Werks has been offering Bare Metal on Cloud services for quite a long time now and it is designed to meet the demands of SMBs. As cloud services have gained momentum in the current technical sphere, we strive to reach out to our audience by offering them what they need.”
