Web Host APlus to Make Red Cross Donation

September 8, 2005
September 8, 2005 - (HOSTSEARCH.COM) - Web host and Internet service provider, Aplus.Net, has announced the launch of a donation initiative to aid the American Red Cross in Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. Aplus.Net has pledged to donate a portion of its September sales to the American Red Cross in order to assist the Gulf Coast states with their recovery from what is being called the most devastating natural disaster in U.S. history

Hurricane Katrina has left a trail of destruction on the Gulf Coast, and it is up to the entire American community to pull together and contribute. Aplus.Net has committed to donating $1.00 from every sale that is made during the month of September to the Red Cross Katrina relief efforts. Aplus.Net traditionally makes thousands of small ticket-item sales in a given month. As a service provider that caters to small businesses, Aplus.Net has a special bond with the many small businesses that have been affected by this disaster, and hopes that some the company’s donation will reach these victims in addition to all others who have suffered.

“Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected by this horrifying disaster, we feel an obligation to give back to those in need,” said Ivan Vachovsky, CEO of Aplus.Net. “We will accumulate our contribution during September and make our donation at a time when aid traditionally starts pouring in more slowly. It is very important to keep the contributions going even after some time has passed. We truly hope that our support will be impactful in rebuilding these cities, and ultimately, people’s lives.”

Aplus.Net encourages our friends, partners and customers to join in the cause by contributing whatever they can to these heroic efforts.
