Cirrus Tech has officially launched its Exchange Hosting services, it was reported recently. The Canadian host is offering a range of plans based on “the most advanced emailing system”, Microsoft Exchange 2007. Its plans offer 500 MB, 1000 MB, and 2000 MB mailboxes and allow options to sign-up for a single mailbox and increase the number of mailboxes on an as needed basis. All plans are available on a month-to-month to 3 year subscription period.
According to the company, Microsoft Exchange has become the “leading email platform for businesses today”. The company’s plans allow users to access Exchange email, calendar, task-list, and shared folder from any Internet connection with Outlook Web Access (webmail). In addition, users can receive email and data through mobile devices such as BlackBerries and iPhones and benefit from “real-time synchronization” of data between Outlook Web Access and mobile devices. Hosted Exchange accounts are hosted on leading-edge Dell Blade Servers in a clustered configuration for maximum uptime and can be managed through an “easy to use” control panel.
