The Australian hosting provider is leveraging Dutch company SpamExperts’ local cloud solution which filters incoming and outgoing email. The move means SpamExperts hosts Digital Pacific’s infrastructure to manage a “private filtering cluster” for its network. As a result, Digital Pacific’s service to customers has seen a major improvement. Alongside adopting SpamExperts’ solutions, Digital Pacific has also joined SpamExperts’ hosting program.

SpamExperts provides a range of security solutions geared towards webhosts who provide shared hosting and telecommunications companies. Alongside inbound and outbound email filtering the company offers email archiving services that can also run on SpamExperts’ cloud infrastructure or its customers’ virtual hardware.
"Before we worked with SpamExperts, we relied on in-house developed tools to filter incoming and outgoing email on all our shared accounts," explained Digital Pacific’s CEO, Andrew Koloadin. "The SpamExperts product allows us to proactively manage spam filtering for our customers with greater accuracy. At the same time, we were able to offload resource usage from our production server environment. This translates into decreased management costs stemming from high priority spam incidents, reduced resource load allowing greater server responsiveness and overall a better customer experience."
