Web host DreamHost has been honored by PCMag.com. The company was awarded the PCMag Business Choice Award for web hosting services provided to business users.
Established in 1997, DreamHost offers a range of options including web hosting, cloud, and domain registration services. The company caters to a 400,000-strong customer base which includes "entrepreneurs and developers". Being named a PCMag award winner underscores the high quality of the company's services.
Part of PCMag's "Readers' Choice Awards", the prestigious PCMag Business Choice Awards are an annual event where PCMag readers in a number of industries are surveyed to provide feedback on the "hardware, software, and services" they "deploy, administer, maintain, and use in a work environment". The results gave DreamHost a score of 8.6 out of 10 for customer satisfaction - the highest overall customer satisfaction score.
DreamHost's success is the culmination of ongoing hardware upgrades and network improvements that have seen the company invest "several millions of dollars". Alongside its high customer satisfaction rating, the survey highlighted DreamHost’s success in other areas. The company received a score of 8.6 for “reliability” and 8.8 for “likelihood to recommend”.
“We work hard to cater to software developers and entrepreneurs,” explained an emotional Brett Dunst, VP of Marketing and Corporate Communications at DreamHost. “To see our work reflected in these glowing survey results from PCMag Readers… It’s…really something. You know? It’s just something good.”
