Web Host Go Daddy Becomes Microsoft BizSpark Program Hosting Partner

March 19, 2009 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web host Go Daddy has becomes a Microsoft BizSpark Program Hosting Partner, it was reported recently. The company, which bills itself as “the world's dominant Web hosting domain registrar”, will now have access to BizSpark participants, who can “utilize Go Daddy's first-class, low-cost hosting services as part of a network of unique offerings provided for qualified Internet start-ups”. Go Daddy's involvement in the scheme was announced at the MIX09 conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

BizSpark helps early stage start-ups with software, support and visibility throughout a company's first three years in operation. Members can download Microsoft software for “development, test and demonstration purposes” without charge, and use Microsoft software hosted "production licenses" free of charge for up to three years.

As a BizSpark Hosting Partner, Go Daddy will “offer BizSpark members a wide range of essential applications and services including domain registration, hosting and SSL certificates for an extremely affordable price” and the first company to offer member start-ups such a combination of services.
