The company, which has headquarters in Culver City, California, USA, bill themselves as an "industry leader in business hosting". It operates a number of data centers across the United States and prides itself of the quality of its support services. Alongside the inclusion of Solid-state Drives (SSDs), InMotion Hosting's ‘Elite’ server customers receive a data backup of up to 2 TB at no additional cost.
SSDs have no moving parts. As a result they are significantly faster that the "spinning disk" disks used in more traditional hosting services. The result is improved performance in terms of increased website page loading speeds and faster access to databases.
InMotion Hosting's Advanced, Elite, and the Commercial Class servers are now offering SSDs. These plans also offer cPanel and Web Host Manager (WHM) alongside "industry leading RAID technology". The company's plans are also underpinned by guaranteed website uptime.
