April 18, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web host iWeb Group Inc. has lost a board member, the company announced yesterday. Mr. Jean-Pierre Gibeault has resigned to pursue other interests and his resignation was effective April 12, 2007.
"My decision is motivated by the need to concentrate more time and efforts on my group of health care companies. I have a lot of trust in Eric Chouinard and Martin Leclair and their team to achieve a controlled and profitable growth of iWeb. I wish you all a lot of success," Mr. Gibeault stated in his resignation letter.
"We want to thank Jean-Pierre for his commitment to iWeb since it was first listed. We respect and understand his decision to concentrate his efforts on his companies and wish him the best of luck", said Co-founder and CEO of iWeb, Mr. Eric Chouinard. He news comes after the recent addition of two new members to the company board. The six member board now includes Martin Leclair, Eric Chouinard, Robert Brouillette, Daniel Leclair, Martin Cauchon and Michel Leclair.
Established in 1996, iWeb offers shared hosting, dedicated servers and colocation though its own data centers. The company provides services in English, French and Spanish to clients in “more than 140 countries”.
