October 31, 2008 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web host Memset (http://www.memset.com) has been recognized as one of the fastest growing technology companies in the UK with an inclusion in the Deloitte Fast 50 2008. The Fast 50 ranks the UK’s fastest-growing technology companies based on percentage growth over five years, and Memset’s five-year growth rate of 823% (based on the percentage revenue growth from 2003-2007) put the company 32nd in the list.
Only companies that meet “stringent criteria” are included in the Deloitte Fast 50. For a start they must be UK owned and have been in business for over five years. In addition, they must have operating revenues of at least £34,000, own “proprietary technology or proprietary intellectual property that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues”, or “devote a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology”.
