The company operates several carrier and data center neutral interconnection platforms in North America. It offers a range of peering services that include ‘Managed Cloud Peering’, ‘High Availability Dedicated Peering’, ‘Multiple VPC Peering Connections’, 'CDN Optimized Routing’ and ‘VOIP Optimized Routing’. ServeYourSite's partnership with GPIEX will significantly enhance its services.
For peering to work effectively, Internet Exchanges must offer neutral local networks that allow carriers, Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and network operators to connect and exchange traffic. GPEIX’s service “reduces IP Transit and network costs by aggregating all kinds of ISPs on a Layer 2 switching platform”.
