As well as DONOBi’s web hosting and collocation customers, the purchase includes dial-up, DSL and high-speed fiber optic Internet customers. This latest acquisition means that Sitestar has made substantial acquisitions in each quarter of the 2008 fiscal year.

Plus, fiber is the perfect conduit to deliver additional recurring revenue service opportunities like VoIP or IPTV, whose viability we are investigating."
Fiber Optic Internet rides over local utility infrastructure to provide broadband services that compete with cable, DSL and wireless as far as speed, performance and cost are concerned. Fiber optic also supports VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) and IPTV (Internet Protocol Television).
Sitestar is headquartered in Lynchburg, Virginia, USA and caters to customers throughout the US and Canada. The company “expects a smooth and seamless transition” and “plans to consolidate infrastructure from its existing regional customer base to reduce operating expenses”.
