Tier.Net Technologies, LLC (Tier.Net) has acquired GateNode and GreenyHost Web Hosting’s customers in the United States. The company, which was established in 2013, has headquarters in Melbourne, Florida, USA. It offers a range of services including web hosting for business, reseller, VPS and dedicated server hosting, as well as domain registration services and colocation. The US customers will be fully absorbed by Tier.Net and, according to the company, “will not see any significant changes to pricing, networking, or the infrastructure”.
Tier.Net’s latest acquisition will help the company maintain its growth strategy and extend its customer base. Financial aspects of the deal have not been disclosed. GateNode and GreenyHost are web hosts that both offer shared VPS and dedicated servers hosting in the United States and Europe. Both are hosted on Tier.Net’s network. The deal means that GateNode and GreenyHost’s customers will now benefit from Tier.Net services that were previously unavailable to them.
