Web Host Web4Africa Extends Hosting Infrastructure
Domain registrar and web host Web4Africa has announced it has extended its hosting infrastructure. Web4Africa, which is an ICANN accredited domain name provider, has headquarters in Randburg, Gauteng, South Africa and a presence in Nigeria. Established in 2002, the company offers a broad suite of hosting-related services including traditional web hosting, colocation, dedicated servers, and Virtual Private Server (VPS) options.

Web4Africa’s extended infrastructure brings its services to Ghana and Kenya and offers “better delivery as websites and data can be kept locally”. The company offers four “regular web hosting” plans designed to meet the requirements of small and medium-sized businesses.

“The dedicated and virtual servers provide flexible specifications that can meet a range of enterprise hosting needs, running operating systems including CentOS, Ubuntu Server, Debian, Scientific Linux and Fedora,” explained the companies press release. “The Virtual Servers are available with OpenVZ 7 or KVM virtualisation”.
