December 23, 2008 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web host WebaZilla has increased its bandwidth hosting network capacity to 120 Gbps, it was reported recently. The enhancement represents a 60% increase in network quality. The move comes after gaining new contracts with AboveNet Communications, Inc. and IP Transit, Inc.

“We are thrilled to offer 120 Gbps to our customers,” explained Alexei Goubarev, spokesperson for WebaZilla. “It means we can continue to offer one of the best high-speed networks in the industry to our growing customer base.”

According the company, the agreement with AboveNet “is a long-term contract that will allow WebaZilla to scale hosting networks very quickly”. The agreement with IP Transit, Inc. allows WebaZilla to open Points of Presence (POPs) in major traffic markets across USA.

“AboveNet is a high quality, high tech company and was a perfect fit to help improve our network quality,” Goubarev explained, adding. “IP Transit will allow us to get into peering agreements with the largest American ISP's available.”
