WP Engine has announced the launch of a new online publication. Established in 2010, WP Engine has global headquarters in Austin, Texas, United States and a presence in the US cities of San Francisco and San Antonio. WP Engine specializes in providing “amazing digital experiences for websites and applications built on WordPress” and has around 60,000 business customers in around 140 countries. Known as ‘Velocitize’, its new publication is designed to “provide insights for digital marketers and agencies”.
According to WP Engine, research has suggested that OS solutions provide the “preeminent software architecture” for “applications, operating systems, cloud computing, databases and big data”. OS alternatives to costly proprietary CRM, ERP, ecommerce, web content management, graphic design and analytics solutions are also extremely popular. As a result, Velocitize will cater to this increasing demand for Open Source (OS) solutions and has launched with 58 initial articles covering areas such as “digital trends and reports, marketing expertise from brands, innovation, agency insights, and interviews with industry leaders”.
