Web Host WP.land Comes Out of Stealth Mode
Web host WP.land has come out of stealth mode and launched an automated WordPress-based website creation platform. The company, which has headquarters in Houston, Texas, United States, had been in stealth mode around nine months. The launch of its new platform will “allow users to easily create scalable websites”.

WordPress started as a blogging solution but since its launch on May 27, 2003, it has become the Internet’s leading Content Management System (CMS). As an Open Source (OS) solution WordPress is free to end users and to date there are over 74,000,000 sites built on the solution. WP.land’s new platform is proprietary and, once signed up, enables users to generate a WordPress website “in less than 5 minutes”. It stops users having to address the technical aspects of website design by providing a single unified platform.

“I’ve been in various parts of the web hosting industry for over 16 years and are still shocked with how complicated it is for a typical consumer to actually get a simple website setup, WP.land solves this problem in a big way,” explained WP.land’s CEO, Rodney Giles. “Our goals are very ambitious this year, we believe our platform is unique in the ease of use and we are certain our users will see that.”
