Web Hosting and Data Center Operator Hetzner Online AG Announces New Colocation Services Through Nuremberg and Falkenstein/Vogtland Locations
Web hosting and data center operator Hetzner Online AG has announced new colocation services through its Nuremberg and Falkenstein/Vogtland locations in Germany. More than 3,500 square meters of colocation space is available at both locations. The company, who also offers traditional web hosting options, is offering its new service at the monthly fee of 199 euros ($US271), including 19% VAT, but not including a setup fee.

Hetzner Online offers energy-efficient data centers with uninterruptible power supplies, high levels of security and on-site customer service. The company's customers have 24/7 access to its facilities' colocation areas, and access can be set up through an administration interface. The company's facilities offer 19 inch colocation racks up to a height of 47 rack units. Each unit is separately secured and offers four power circuits with ten amp loads. The cost of power is calculated on an individual rack basis.

Hetzner Online won the "GreenIT Best Practice Award" at the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology in Berlin for its cooling practices. External air is used to cool its centers, and if the external temperature rises, its systems automatically cool using compressors.
