November 25, 2006 (HOSTSEARCH.COM) Web hosting and domain name provider Cheapville (http://www.cheapville.net) has made text messaging easier, the company announced this week. Cheapvilles web-based email now instantly sends text messages alongside standard email.
Cheapvilles customers can access a drop-down menu on their web-based email which offers an option to select email only, text message only, or both. A field in the user's address book allows numbers to be put into a message and the client manages the 160 character limit required by cell phone carriers.
Cheapville provides a range of services to a worldwide customer base and is a fully accredited ICANN registrar. The companys hosting plans support websites built with Ruby on Rails and it employs TippingPoint Intrusion Prevention Systems to protect dedicated and virtual dedicated hosting.
