October 18, 2007 (HOSTSEARCH.COM) Web hosting and domain name provider GoDaddy.com is offering live domain name auctions, it was announced yesterday. The Go Daddy Signature Auctions (http://www.godaddysignatureauctions.com) will represent a three-day event, taking place November 6-8, 2007. During the event numerous premium domain names will auctioned online. Qualifying to bid is a simple process and the auction is open to the public.
"We've said it many times - domain names are real estate of the 21st century," explained GoDaddy.coms Founder and CEO, Mr. Bob Parsons. "We wanted to give people a chance to secure some prime Internet space through a fast-paced, easy to use auction."
Go Daddy Signature Auctions currently offers 25 domain names for users to bid for and each will be put up for auction one at a time. The list of domain names will be available from October 24, 2007. According to Go Daddy, there is no time limit to each auction; so once the bidding stops, the auction ends. A moderator is available to answer bidders questions.
