Web Hosting Company ServeYourSite Upgrades VPS Plans with KVM Technology-based SSD Drives
April 7, 2017
Web hosting company ServeYourSite has upgraded its Virtual Private Server (VPS) plans to include KVM Technology-based Solid State Drive (SSD) drives. ServeYourSite, which has headquarters in Hackensack, New Jersey, United States, is a new brand recently launched by data center company Whitelabel ITSolutions. Alongside fully managed Virtual Private Server (VPS) plans the new brand offers a “one stop shop” for hosting solutions with services that include security services alongside shared and reseller hosting. The news represents a “significant change” and offers major benefits to customers including “superior space, bandwidth and performance”.
SSD drives have been replacing more traditional 'spinning disk' hard disks over recent years. With no moving parts they are faster and their increased efficiency results in improved page loading times. In a similar way to dedicated servers, VPS offers dedicated and manageable resources and gives users “complete autonomy”. ServeYourSite’s upgrade enables its VPS options to offer more space and bandwidth.
KVM Technology-based Solid State Drive customers benefit from up to 6 Core CPUs, 350 GB SSD Raid 10 Space and 32 GB of Ram. Plans also offer a choice of the latest Unix or Windows Operating Systems and the latest control panels. They also offer hardware firewall and DDOS protection. As ServeYourSite is now part of a major ‘NY Peering Exchange’ its KVM-based VPS customers now also benefit from ‘Enhanced Routing’.
“The ServeYourSite team is thrilled to give customers more power and speed so that they can focus on their business without having to worry about the server”, explained a spokesperson in a company press release. “While allowing ServeYourSite to focus on providing reliable and affordable service with unbeatable customer service to all clients”.
