April 29, 2005 - (HOSTSEARCH.COM) - PIPEX Communications has acquired award-winning Donhost, the dedicated and shared web hosting and domain name business, to further enhance its hosting capabilities and provide a reseller-based hosting solution.
Donhost is a web hosting business providing shared and dedicated servers, reseller solutions, domain name registration and Internet access to business and residential customers in the UK. Donhost has 92,000 end customers for hosting services and 120,000 domain names, which takes the total number of domain name registrations for the PIPEX group to over 1 million.
Pipex (PXC.LN) acquired Donhost for (GBP) 5.9 million.
