June 5, 2006 (HOSTSEARCH.COM) British web hosting provider Active 24 (http://www.active24.co.uk) has announced it is sponsoring YouthWorks Limited who will organize a Youth Inclusion Project that will coincide with the World Cup. The social enterprise will feature a five-a-side challenge planned by YouthWorks that is directed at Londons most disadvantaged young people.
The YouthWorks and Active 24 tournament kicks off Saturday 10 June 2006 and has the same format at that of the world cup, with 32 teams taking part in the competition. Each team will be from the London borough of Lambeth. Active 24 is donating prizes including trophies and medals. The company will also be donating 20% of its sales revenue to the Vassall Ward Youth and Community Project (a Lambeth charity) during the world cup. The company is also engaged in a number of projects aimed at teaching youth in local communities various aspects of the Internet.
Our aim is to bring awareness about the possibilities offered by the Internet and open peoples mind about the creation of websites and topical issues such as virus, emails etc
