Alongside a price reduction for web design services AIT is offering “a free collaboration suite to other professionals in conjunction with hosting service” which it suggests is ideal for teachers. The suite helps teachers manage classroom activity through task assignment and management. The system is designed to allow parents to monitor student progress. “Students are comfortable with technology, so this is a means of teachers reaching young people through a familiar medium,” suggested Mr. Briggs. “The Collaboration Suite can also be tied into an intranet, making it useful for the office environment, too.”
