November 15, 2005 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting provider and domain registrar GoDaddy.com has expanded into Phoenix. The company has established a Data Center located in central Phoenix, in an area known as the "Opportunity Corridor." GoDaddy.com founder Bob Parsons joined Phil Gordon, the Mayor of Phoenix, at the official ribbon cutting ceremony last Monday.

"We look forward to enriching our relationship with the city of Phoenix and the chance to be a part of its development. Both Phoenix and Go Daddy are growing at a rapid pace. It's a great fit," said Parsons.

GoDaddy.com’s 270,000 square foot data center cost $9.5 million and is located near Sky Harbor Airport. The center will house some the computer hardware the company uses to maintain a global 24/7 operation. "As the world's No. 1 domain registrar and the number 1 shared web hosting company in North America GoDaddy.com is a perfect fit for Phoenix's 'Opportunity Corridor.' The city of Phoenix will benefit from the innovative products and services provided by Go Daddy, as well as the positive economic flow to the community," said Mayor Gordon.
