Web Hosting Provider Aplus.Net Acquired By Catalyst Investors

December 8, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting provider Aplus.Net (http://aplus.net) has been acquired by Catalyst investors, it was announced this week. “Industry veteran” Gabriel Murphy has been made Chief Executive Officer of the organization and will “co-invest” alongside Catalyst. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Aplus.Net provides a range of hosting and related solutions including domain name registration services, dedicated server hosting, web design and web marketing services. The company caters to approximately 90,000 customers, mainly small- and medium-sized businesses. Founders Ivan and Lilian Vachovsky “retain an ownership stake”.

The San Diego, California, based web host has over 300 employees and operations in San Diego, Sacramento, Phoenix, Sofia (Bulgaria) and Manila (Philippines).
