September 29, 2008
September 29, 2008 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting provider Carolinanet (http://www.carolinanet.com) has acquired Inter-Tech Communications’ web services division, it was reported recently. Inter-Tech will move its technical and business operations to Carolinanet’s data center facilities in Greensboro, North Carolina, USA. Carolinanet will now focus on IT consulting safe in the knowledge that it will be able to deliver supporting technology and ensure customers receive proper follow up and support.

“Specialization is a key element,” explained Nicky Smith, President of Carolinanet, discussing the company’s success. “One company can no longer be all things to all businesses. Our expertise in hosting, co-location, online systems applications, and telecommunications will enhance the services Inter-Tech’s customers currently use.”

“This is a win-win situation for both companies and our customers,” explained Randon L. Morgan, President of Inter-Tech. “As Inter-Tech’s customer base continued to expand, it was clear our quality expectations were at risk. We needed a solution to provide continued excellence without adding costly overhead that would have to be passed on to our customers. Integrating Inter-Tech’s web services with Carolinanet was the logical choice.”

Established as Guilford Communications, Inc. in 1999, Carolinanet provides co-location, web hosting, and domain name registration alongside online telecommunication services. Established in 2001 as Dynamic Network Solutions, Inc., Inter-Tech provides consulting for small business.
