Web Hosting Provider CHIhost.com, Sponsors Students from Developing Countries

May 11, 2006 - (HOSTSEARCH.COM) - Web hosting provider CHIhost.com (http://www.chihost.com) recently announced that it has initiated a scheme where it sponsors students from developing countries by providing them with free full feature web hosting accounts. Known as the ‘Third World Student Hosting Sponsorship Program’, the scheme is geared towards students from developing countries and is designed to help those involved to ‘expand their learning of web design and programming’.

Abdifitahaam Ahmed from the School of Computer Technology in Mogadishu, Somalia is one of a class of 21 students involved in the scheme. He commented, ''We are hoping to learn Dreamweaver, Flash, JavaScript and Fireworks. Our country is in a civil war and we don't have enough money for an account, we are very happy that CHIhost.com has given us this account and we will soon ftp our files up to our new website.''

Discussing the scheme, and Abdifitahaam’s involvement in it, Nick Gilbert, CEO of CHIhost.com suggested, ''At CHIhost.com we believe it is important that web design be learned in all countries. We are pleased to assist Abdifitahaam and his classmates in meeting their goal of becoming great web designers.''
