Web Hosting Provider Codero Hosting Raises $8M
Silicon Valley Bank and Farnam Street Financial have given web hosting provider Codero Hosting $8 million in financing. The company, which has headquarters in Austin, Texas and operates data centers in Chicago, Phoenix, and Ashburn, will use the money to increase the footprint of its hybrid hosting solution and will expand into the Dallas Forth Worth area.

Codero Hosting connects its data centers with ‘dark fiber’ and has made a major investment in a unique, “completely automated” hybrid cloud offering that provides users with an easy to use control panel and allows them to pay by credit card. The aim of the company is to extend its hybrid hosting platform to data centers owned by its customers.

To facilitate its ambitions Codero Hosting recently increased the size of its Austin headquarters and added Robert Autenrieth to its executive team. Mr. Autenrieth was formerly VP of Operations at Rackspace and is the design force behind the company’s expansion in Dallas Forth Worth.

“We have outpaced our industry’s growth, expanding faster than other hosting and cloud providers due to our commitment to providing customers with unparalleled performance, expertise, support and value,” explained Codero Hosting Hosting’s president and CEO, Emil Sayegh. “The support of SVB and Farnam Street Financial helps us accelerate our growth and capitalize on our market success.”
