Packages must be paid for on an annual or bi-annual basis and free domains can only be chosen from the .com, .org, .net .co.uk .me.uk or .org.uk extensions.
The company has also announced the introduction of virtual private server (VPS) options with servers based in the UK and in the USA.
Established in 1998, UK-based coolbluenet provides a range of shared web hosting packages (CBN-S1, CBN-S2 and CBN-S3) and plans to introduce a number of other services including SSL certificates.
