Newtek Business Services, Inc. company (NASDAQ: NEWT), today announced the release of Adobe® ColdFusion® 9 hosting plans. CrystalTech hosts more than 100,000 domain names and serves web developers and small businesses in more than 100 countries around the world.
As one of the first Adobe sanctioned web hosts to offer ColdFusion 9 beta hosting last summer, CrystalTech has been working closely with developers and reliably hosting live ColdFusion 9 sites for more than six months in preparation for today’s launch.
“When ColdFusion 9 beta first became available last year, we jumped at the chance to offer hosting plans for it, just as we have with previous versions of the framework,” said CrystalTech President Bob Cichon. “More importantly, we wanted our own ColdFusion development community to have ample time to stress test their applications so we could move forward knowing that our offering will be among the most reliable and highest performing on the market.”
ColdFusion 9 enables developers to rapidly build web applications by condensing complex business logic into fewer lines of code. The software also features enhanced integration with the Adobe Flash Platform and tight integration with Adobe’s first ever ColdFusion IDE, ColdFusion Builder.

CrystalTech’s release includes three shared hosting plans running ColdFusion 9, Enterprise Edition, on Windows Server 2008 and Microsoft IIS7 servers, starting at $16.95 per month.
