The new 12,000 square-foot center is designed to meet the needs of the company’s growing customer base, and offers “a high level of bandwidth capacity” through a 6 megawatt power handling capability. The company has already successfully migrated all of its customers to the new facility.

We made sure that power supply and bandwidth is abundant, with great emphasis on efficient power management to handle the workload. In fact we spared no expense to professionally rewire the facility to ensure the power is delivered correctly. We have also obtained a lot of dark fiber, to have unlimited connectivity options to multitude of Tier 1 providers."
Galaxy Visions’ new data center can house over 25,000 servers and is powered by 2 feeds from Con Edison. Those feeds are then connected into Galaxy Visions powerful Lieberts 225KVA UPS Systems, which then distributes all the power into the main power distribution panels. The data center is cooled with air conditioning units and Galaxy Visions can “cross connect” to “most of the providers in the world”. The facility also offers “state-of-the-art” security with biometric readers and advanced 24/7 CCTV.
