December 11, 2007 (HOSTSEARCH.COM) Web hosting provider Go Daddy has announced the winners of its Custom Web Site Contest, it was reported recently. Winners Gail Udell, Nick Barr and Heather Zook received an overhaul of their Web sites provided by Go Daddys Custom Web Site team. Each received a Go Daddy Custom Web Site with a 20-page custom page layout design, a one-on-one design consultation and one full year of hosting on the Go Daddy Premium Custom Web Site service. The contest required Go Daddys customers writing a compelling story about why they or their business should be chosen for a Custom Web Site.
The contest was introduced to the public on national television by Go Daddys CEO and Founder Bob Parsons during an episode of The Big Idea a program aimed at entrepreneurs. The contest was a response to entrepreneurs who had great ideas and products but did not have an online presence. It doesnt have to cost hundreds of dollars, you dont need to be a tech whiz and we can help you get up and running as quickly as anyone in the business without a doubt, explained Mr. Parsons. Our designers do a great job of bringing a customers vision to life.
Our goal is to be a community of supporters for our children, explained winner Gail Udell. We were missing a big piece by not having a Web presence, and were limited in what we could do.
The winners newly-designed Web sites will be presented at GoDaddyConnections.com beginning in early March.
