November 24, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting provider Internet Group (iG) has selected Comodo's control panel solution to manage its web hosting operations, the company announced this week through its web hosting and server automation division, PSOFT (). According to Internet Group, Brasil Telecom's (http://www.brasiltelecom.com.br) internet branch, H-Sphere was chosen to provide “operational scalability enabling efficient and automated customer provisioning and service”.
H-Sphere has been chosen for iG Empresas - Brasil Telecom’s new line of internet services for small and medium size businesses (SMB), and to cater for its base of 40,000 web hosting customers. Alongside Internet services, Brasil Telecom Group offers a full range of services telcom services including local fixed-line telecommunications, domestic and international long distance fixed-line telecommunications, mobile telecommunications, data transmission and data center services. iG is the largest internet access provider (ISP) in Latin America reaching 28% of Brazilian residences with computers. Approximately 1 million subscribers pay for services which also include broadband access.
