Layered Technologies, Inc. With more than 30 years of security, risk and compliance expertise, Reich will further expand Layered Tech’s leadership position in providing compliant cloud, dedicated and hybrid hosting environments. As a well-known industry expert on security and risk management, Reich will deliver significant value to Layered Tech clients, whose compliance needs are growing in areas such as PCI DSS and HIPAA.
Reich has extensive experience in cloud computing, having served as chief security officer for Rackspace Hosting, vice president and chief security officer of CheckFree, and senior manager of information protection at Dell Inc. Most recently he served as the director of operations for the Institute for Cyber Security (ICS) at The University of Texas at San Antonio, where he developed and led its cloud computing security research lab.
