Liquid Web, a leading provider of premium web hosting products and data center infrastructure. The newly formed partnership will allow customers to purchase SSL Certificates in conjunction with their current web hosting solutions, providing convenience and ease for many customers who would normally have to purchase from two separate companies.
As a leader in the professional web hosting market, Liquid Web chose to seek out a leading SSL provider who could offer both cost effective and reliable SSL security solutions. Liquid Web will be offering GlobalSign’s SSL Certificates bundled together within their existing hosting packages, allowing Liquid Web to enhance their current offerings while showing customers a strong commitment to continually providing superior and dependable web-hosting solutions. The partnership will enable Liquid Web to offer all three types of SSL Certificates, the fast issuance Domain Validation SSL, traditional Organization Validation SSL, and the newly standardized Extended Validation (EV) SSL, which activates the green address bar interface in IE, Firefox, Opera, Chrome, and Safari browsers.

Liquid Web also intends on becoming a Platinum Partner to take advantage of deeper pricing discounts, enhanced product development and additional sales and marketing resources including a co-branded site seal. The co-branded site seal will display both Liquid Web and GlobalSign’s logo to help educate web visitors on the security technology employed to protect transactions performed on the website, which are securely encrypted with GlobalSign’s strong SSL technology. All GlobalSign SSL Certificates are inclusive of Server Gated Cryptography (SGC) (to “step up” weak browser encryption to strong encryption on older browsers), and are issued from the widely distributed 2048 bit GlobalSign Root CA Certificate.
