The move comes on the heels of the company’s purchase of Ilisys earlier this year and positions it for “growth in the web hosting sector”. MYOB will continue the SmartyHost brand.

“Our research shows that 59% of Australian small businesses don’t currently have a website,” added Mr. Reed. “Through the acquisition of SmartyHost we can now deliver a basic website and domain name package to Australian businesses starting from under $100 per year.”
