August 21, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting provider Port City Web (http://www.portcityweb.com) has achieved Microsoft ISV status for Google and ProductCart Shopping Cart automation software, it was announced yesterday. The award-winning website and eCommerce design, development, hosting and online marketing company has software under development that automates delivery of product content from the ProductCart shopping cart to Google Base.
"Acceptance into the Microsoft ISV program exemplifies how Port City Web is committed to being a strong stand-out in the crowded field of website and eCommerce development and marketing," explained Port City Web’s President and CEO, Erik Crago. "Most marketing firms, ad agencies, web development or design companies claim to do eCommerce work. At Port City Web, eCommerce is the core of our business, accounting for approximately $1 million of our annual revenue. The software that we are developing emphasizes our significant experience and strength in eCommerce compared to our regional competition".
